It was a good night for Thomas Tuchel and his Chelsea team after last night’s 2-0 win against Porto in Seville.
The goals of Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell helped the Blues take advantage of the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, and Chelsea now had two away goals in the return leg.
As such, it’s no surprise that Tuchel was in good spirits after the game as he spoke to BT Sport chief reporter Des Kelly about his team’s win.
Tuchel described it as a “great result” by Chelsea against a strong Porto team, adding that his team had to suffer at times as they responded to Saturday’s defeat by West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.

But one thing Tuchel did in his post-match interview caught the attention of BT Sport host Gary Lineker, while the Chelsea boss sometimes looked away as Kelly asked him questions.
In fact, Lineker shed light on German action when the broadcast returned to the studio, while the former Tottenham and England striker imitated Tuchel as he looked away from the camera and walked into the distance.
Returning the camera to Lineker, he looked to his right and said, “ Excellent reaction by Thomas Tuchel. ”

However, Lineker then set out to clarify what Tuchel was doing as he was asked questions during the interview, adding that he was “reliably informed” that the German was actually watching replays of goals scored by Mount and Chilwell.
Nonetheless, Tuchel had every right to be pleased with his side as they put themselves in a strong position to reach the semi-finals of the competition ahead of next week’s rematch.
