The fun bus is leaving and this time she no in the driver’s seat.
Vicki Gunvalson, a former student of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” says she signed a contract to appear in the next all-star series “Housewives”, but says she didn’t hear any peep from the broadcaster as production increased.
Now, a source tells Page Six that while Gunvalson was originally scheduled to be on the next Peacock show, the network notified her when the direction of the series changed, canceling her contract.
“She should be very grateful that her contract is null and void, because now she would be violating her contract,” our source sniffed.
The long-awaited series, which can be described as “Real Housewives” meets “Real World”, will bring together franchise favorites, including Luann de Lesseps, in a tropical location.
“Repeat this if you think it’s bulls – t Vicki is not in the HW spin-off,” wrote a fan on social media recently, prompting Gunvalson to reply, “It’s bulls – t !!”
“I had the contact signed by both parties at FEB and then Covid hit … then the crickets [sic]”, She wrote on Instagram.
Gunvalson was a member of the original cast when “RHOC” debuted in 2006 and left the show before season 15 (2020). She spent the 14th season (2019) in a role of “friend” rather than as a member of the main cast.
Page Six confirmed exclusively earlier this week that Lesseps’ “RHONY” favorite was cast for the show, which is due to start shooting in Turks and Caicos in April.
The Blast reported that the series will feature between eight and 10 women from the Bravo franchise and names like Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna are being considered.
“RHONY” star Sonja Morgan may also appear on the show, as she posted on Turks and Caicos’ Instagram.
