The Samsung Galaxy S10 locked to Verizon’s network recently received a new software update that increased the level of Android patches on the smartphone by April 2021 and brought new camera features. Those same features found their way to Verizon’s Galaxy Note20 5G and Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G, along with the April patch and new background effects for Portrait Mode.
Here is the full change log of the new update for the Note20 duo:
- Pro mode – ultra wide
- An extremely wide lens is now available in Pro and Pro Video camera modes.
- Portrait – mono / background effects
- Change the background for portrait shots with new mono-high, mono-low and background effects.
- Automatic night mode
- Photo, Portrait, and Hyperlapse modes now automatically detect low light conditions and include night mode for optimal quality.
The new version for the Galaxy Note20 5G sports version number N981USQU2DUCA, while the firmware for the Ultra model has the N986USQU2DUCA version. Updates are published wirelessly, and if you can’t wait for an update alert to appear on your smartphone, you can access it. Settings > Software update menu to check it manually.
