Veloce Esports secures the Bang & Olufsen partnership

Organization of simulation races Veloce Esports has announced a partnership with a Danish audio brand Bang & Olufsen.

As a result of the agreement, Bang & Olufsen will supply the organization’s new gaming headquarters in Fulham with audio devices. Moreover, Veloce Esports drivers will get headphones.

Some of the products integrated into the Veloce Esports headquarters include Beosound Shape wall speakers, Beosound 1 and Beoplay M5 portable speakers, Beovision Eclipse TV and two Beosound Stage soundtracks.

With product integration, the partnership is expected to cover a range of joint projects and content during 2021. According to the announcement, the one-year contract can be extended to 2022 and later, if the agreement proves successful.

This is Bang & Olufsen’s second partnership with esports. Last year, the company secured a three-year contract with the Astralis Group, which covers leisure, exercise and travel. In March 2021, the audio brand launched the Beoplay Portal, which saw the company produce its first toy headphones and products in a new category.

Esports Insider says: The importance of sound in esports has been growing in the last 12 months as we have seen more audio brands teaming up with tournament organizers and esports organizations. This job will certainly help assemble Veloce’s new headquarters, while at the same time giving Bang & Olufsen greater exposure in the esports scene, especially in the sim racing sector.
