Several medical treatments are available for Parkinson’s disease, but refractory motor manifestations such as tremors and motor complications impair the quality of life of many patients. The results of uncontrolled studies suggest that focused ultrasound subthalamotomy may reduce such manifestations. The new findings of the research are summarized in a short video.
