The air component of Operation Thunder Strike neutralized at least 24 suspected bandits in the Birinin Gwari local government area of Kaduna State.
Interior Ministry and Interior Minister Samuel Aruwan announced this in a statement Thursday.
He said the robbers were killed during an air mission conducted by troops over Ungwan Nacibi in the Birnin Gwari local government area.
According to him, the planes carried out an air attack on the identified locations of the bandits, which were successful.
He added that the attacks were well targeted because the air attack confirmed that several bandits were dead.
