Transfer talk of Man Utd from Friday: Haaland, Calvert-Lewin, Lingard

Sports Mole rounds out the latest Manchester United transfer talk on Friday, December 25th.

The frustrating summer transition period is now closed with Manchester United missing several of his main targets, including Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils, however, were busy on the final day, bringing in Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles and Facundo Pellistri, in addition to an agreement on a deal to sign Amad Traore in January. Attention will now shift to other tasks they can perform when the window opens in the winter.

Here, Sports mole rounds out the latest news on possible arrivals and departures from Old Trafford.

Manchester United’s hopes of signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haland could reportedly be shattered by their icy relationship with his agent Mina Raiol.

The Red Devils were strongly associated with the 20-year-old last January, but eventually missed his signature for Dortmund, where the striker continued his prolific form.

Man United retain interest in signing Hollande, although it is expected to wait until 2022, when a £ 68 million release clause enters into his contract, to make the following approach.

However, Athletic reports that while the Norwegian international remains a priority target for the twenty-time English champions, Raiola could hamper their chances of signing him.

The relationship between Raiola and Man United is bad, mainly due to continuous speculation about the future of Paul Pogba, which Raiola continued to publicly encourage.

Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was previously in charge of Halland in Molde, but the problem could be the relationship between the club’s management and Raiola.

The Red Devils have recently been linked with Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a possible alternative to Halland, who have scored 33 goals in 32 games since moving to Dortmund less than a year ago.

It is also known that Chelsea and Real Madrid are interested in the former Red Bull Salzburg striker.

Manchester United have reportedly expressed interest in signing Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The English international’s goal-scoring has been well documented this season, and Calvert-Lewin has found net shelter 11 times in 14 Premier League games for the impressive Toffees.

Only Mohamed Salah has scored several times this season in the first round of Calvert-Lewin, and the Everton striker is already linked with a move to one of the best European clubs.

According to Athletic, Man United are ready to run for Calvert-Lewin after hitting an obstacle in search of Erling Braut Haland, while agent Mino Raiola has complicated matters due to a deal with a Borussia Dortmund man.

As a result, United have reportedly turned their attention to Calvert-Lewin, but the report claims Everton would need a £ 75m offer to even consider a sale, and Toffees manager Carlo Ancelotti strongly opposes the 23-year-old leave.

Calvert-Lewin is under contract at Goodison Park until 2025, concluding a new contract in March.
