(Pocket-lint) – Joining its Chinese manufacturers at MWC in Shanghai, Realme announced today that it will launch a new platform of powerful flagship devices starting in March.
Realme’s GT range will be at the middle of its product portfolio and will include a top-tier device powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor.
For the GT range, it’s not just about performance. Realme – a former Oppo subbrand – wants to release phones that look and feel good.
Its flagship GT phone features a two-tone contrasting design on the back and uses soft vegan skin in bright colors.
In order for vegan skin to fit properly on the back – and create a good stamp on the non-leather stripe “go faster” – Realme used a custom shaping process. That way you shouldn’t see the lips or the separation between the two.
The manufacturer says it has even improved the texture and feel of its vegan skin to make it softer and more beautiful to the touch, as well as to show a lighter color.
The power of the Snapdragon 888 is controlled by a redesigned stainless steel cooling system to keep your phone running quickly and efficiently even under heavy load.

He imagines these phones as powerful and at the same time great camera phones.
In addition, Realme says it will use both Snapdragon and MediaTek Dimensity is the leading 5G platform in its range.
Realme was one of the fastest growing brands in 2020, and it’s easy to see why. Its phones regularly offer incredible value for money, offering excellent specs and performance at very affordable prices.
For 2021, it will try to upgrade that reputation by offering high-end touch phones and extremely capable cameras.
Realme’s GT series launches on March 4th, so stay tuned for more details in about a week.
