The new Resident Evil Showcase live show coming on April 15th

Capcom is planning the second news dump for Resident Evil of the year, including another trailer for Resident Evil Village, the next major game of Resident Evil. The live broadcast on April 15 will also feature “several other surprises,” according to Thursday’s announcement trailer.

The April Resident Evil exhibition will air at 18:00 EDT / 15:00 PDT on Capcom’s YouTube, Twitch, Twitterand Facebook channels. As at the Resident Evil Showcase event in January, Brittney Brombacher from What’s Good Games will be the host. Resident Evil Village producer Tsuyoshi Kanda and director Morimasa Sato will also appear in the presentation.

In the announcement for the exhibition, Brombacher promised more news about Resident Evil on behalf of Capcom. With Resident Evil Re: Verse an open beta version to be performed over the coming weekend, it is currently unclear what the new surprise would be.

After a recent success Resident Evil 2 i Resident Evil 3 remake, it is possible that we could see another renovation project Resident Evil 4 or Resident Evil: Code Veronica – the latter is a direct continuation of the second and third games. Capcom already has a new animated series, Resident Evil: Endless darkness, which will hit Netflix later this year, as well as a new active movie in progress.

Capcom lets go Resident Evil Village May 7 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox Series X and Xbox One.
