The leak of the Huawei P50 Pro Plus shows the penta rear camera

(Pocket-lint) – Huawei should unveil its P50, P50 Pro and P50 Pro Plus at some point in the next few months, and although we’ve seen the headphone design leak earlier, the latest images reveal more about the possible camera setup.

Previous leaks showed two large circuits on the back of the Huawei P50 Pro inside the camera body, but the circuits from OnLeaks remained empty. Now, another leak, Hoilndi, revealed the alleged camera setup for the P50 Pro Plus and it looks like it will be a penta lens layout.

Based on images from the Netherlands, the Huawei P50 Pro Plus will feature a periscope lens inside the upper circle with a smaller lens below, while the lower circle will have three additional lenses. No details have been revealed about the type of lens that the P50 Pro Plus will have, however, the specifics are not yet known regarding the type of lens, megapixel or aperture.

It’s worth mentioning that the same leaker who discovered these images in the past showed something different for the P50 Pro Plus design, so it may be that these renders are a prototype rather than the final design.

At the front, it looks like the Huawei P50 Pro Plus will have a waterfall screen with a centralized drilling camera on top. No details on the screen size have been revealed, although it was previously claimed that the P50 Pro will have a 6.6-inch screen, which would mean that the P50 Pro Plus should be larger.

Rumors initially thought the Huawei P50 series would arrive in March, although there was talk of April as well. It has since been claimed that the launch will be postponed until May. The series is expected to feature Huawei HarmonyOS, not Android.
