The leader of the majority in the Niger Assembly has been removed

Members of the Niger State House Assembly fired the majority leader in the house of Abbu Bala Mohammed and his deputy Bint Mamman.

Their colleagues impressed the deputies because of their alleged negligence.

However, the dismissal of deputy leader Binte Mamman was later reversed as it was said it was still being isolated and recovering from the coronavirus.

Lawmakers accused the majority leader of leaving the plenary session during the important issue of presenting the 2021 Budget Assessment Report.

The request for revocation was withdrawn by a member representing Bida 1, Hon. Grandma Kasim Alfa, and handed over by Hon. Mohammed Lokogoma, a representative of the Wushishi constituency
