March went by and on without Apple’s event, and now it looks like April could do the same. A new rumor suggests that the iPad Pro could arrive as early as April 12, but without the event or any other products.
LeaksApplePro on Twitter, which previously recorded the date of the iPhone 13 event and leaked images of third-generation AirPods, says the new iPad Pro will land on Apple.com on Tuesday, April 13, with little more than a press release.
This is a lot different from the rumors about the big event last month that new AirPods and AirTags were added to the new tablet.
Of course, that doesn’t mean the iPad Pro won’t be a great refreshment. Apple also launched the iPad Pro in March last year with a new magic keyboard, along with a redesigned MacBook Air via a press release on Apple.comm, as well as the iPhone SE in April and the new AirPods Max headphones in December.
It is rumored that the new iPad Pro will get several new features, including a mini LED screen that is brighter and more efficient, a Thunderbolt 3, an improved camera and 5G networking. It is supposed to keep the same size (11 inches and 12.9 inches) and shape, but will get a much faster chip in the A14X.
