The fate of “Ginny & Georgia” season 2 revealed on Netflix

On Monday, Netflix officially unveiled the future of the hit series Ginny and Georgia. According to Fun tonight,, Ginny and Georgia was renewed for season 2. The first season premiered on the streaming service in February and reportedly attracted over 52 million viewers during the month.

ET reported that Season 2 will consist of ten 60-minute episodes and that stars Brianne Howey (Georgia) and Antonia Gentry (Ginny) will return. To celebrate the exciting news, Netflix has released a video featuring the cast, including Howey and Gentry, in which they teased the upcoming season. In the clip, they shared that there will be “more living room for dance parties” and “more climbing through the windows”. The cast also shared the MANG slogan that fans will surely recognize: “I love you, I mean it seriously, I hate you, I’m kidding.” There is currently no date for the premiere of Season 2.

After the release of season 1, several cast members talked about their hopes for a possible season 2. As viewers know (spoilers near the end of season 1), the first season ended with Ginny and her younger brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca) running away from houses and mothers on a motorcycle. While talking to ET, Howey explained that she hopes in season 2 “something goes wrong and Ginny comes home.”

Gentry participated in an interview with ELLE, which was released in early March, during which it also opened up what it hopes to see in Season 2 if the show is renewed. According to the actor, he is looking forward to further exploring the relationship between Ginny and Georgia given the events that took place towards the end of Season 1. She explained, “I don’t know what will be prepared if we rebuild or not. But I’d say, I want to see Ginny come down and get dirty. I want to see her turn into Georgia a little bit. I want to see her really dig and show that nasty line which I know has. It would be really fun to research. But I just take things daily by day. “Gentry also said ET that he wants to know more about a private investigator investigating his mother’s mysterious past. So fans will have something to look forward to when it comes to season 2.
