When do you need an accessory accessory? When they are one of the most popular wireless headphones. Apple AirPods Pro the headphones have created their own accessory ecosystem, along with additional cases and other accessories which help to overcome minor flaws that might be major for some people.
When it comes to Apple AirPods and their accessories, there is no shortage of variety. If you want a genuine leather case compared to a silicone material, a charging case or a wireless charging case, they are all available. If you want a fun carrying bag, a waterproof case, something with an attached carabiner pendant or something hanging from your pendant, they exist too. If you want to further personalize things, you can even get an AirPods Pro holster or AirPods skin. The options are seemingly innumerable.
But it needs to start somewhere. From the best AirPods Pro case to the best wireless charger and more, here’s a look at some of CNET’s best selections of AirPods accessories, based on my own experience with each product. Most of them fall into a protective case and bucket to enhance the headphones, along with a few other interesting things I found. I will update this as I test even the best AirPods Pro accessories.

You can find cheaper versions of Catalyst’s AirPods Pro case ($ 30), but Catalyst is a better Apple AirPod case than many imitators, not to mention one of the best AirPods cases you can buy. This AirPods case cover protects your own AirPods case as well as makes it completely waterproof. Another key feature: The included carabiner allows you to attach the strap to a noose or backpack or use it as a keychain case to protect yourself from wireless headphones. This Catalyst waterproof case is currently available in black, blue or red. Expect more colors in the future.

For several years now, Comply has been the gold standard for memory foam ears, and now you can also get Comply tips for your AirPods Pro. I’ve tried them out and they work pretty well, and even the big top fits quite well in the AirPods Pro charging case. With advice issued by Apple, I discovered that the AirPod Pro in my left ear loosened a bit when I ran with the buds. With the top Comply did not loosen and he agreed very safely. They seem to help with the noise attenuation a bit as you will get an even firmer seal.
Adherence tips are quite expensive and cost $ 25. You can get foam tips that cost less (more like $ 12 – $ 15), but like I said, Comply is the gold standard and might be worth paying a little more. If you know your particular size, you get three sets of tips in the package (the same size. Comply also sells a package with small, medium, and large tops, although it’s currently only available on the Comply website, not on Amazon). This could be a good option if you have several people in your family who own AirPods Pro and have ears of different sizes.

Nomad makes beautiful leather cases for iPhone and original AirPods. His Rugged AirPods Pro case is one of the best I have tested. This AirPod Pro case fits like a glove and wears well over time. It is available in three colors.

Team Charlie and Jen at CharJenPro performed a successful Kickstarter for AirPods foam earrings in early 2020, and now have a growing line of AirPods Pro foam earrings, including the new AirFoams Pro Form Fit that have slightly more convex shapes than the original AirFoams Pro ( 25 USD). Soon comes a new Active model that wraps a layer of silicone over the foam.
They are similar to Comply tips, but I’ve noticed that the great Comply tip is a little bigger than the CharJenPro AirFoams Pro Form Fit. If you usually use a medium tip for AirPods Pro, you may want to go with a large foam tip, but the good news is that the M / L option comes with two tips so you can try both (there’s also S / M)).
The original CharJenPro foam tips come in a variety of colors, but Form Fit is currently only available in black.

There is no shortage of generic covers for AirPods Pro on Amazon. I was disappointed with several of them, including those from Spigen. This silicone case, which comes in several different color options, fit well and was thicker than some of the other generic AirPods cases I’ve tried. It only costs $ 6. You can get it with or without the AirPods Pro print. (Initially, many colors were available, but currently that number has been reduced to just a few options. I hope this is a temporary situation).
Keep in mind that all silicone (rubber) covers attract a little dust.

Again, when it comes to generically severe cases, there are dozens of them on Amazon. However, this model of the company AmBand, which mainly sells ranges of smart watches, manages to stand out with its attractive design and reasonable price (12 USD). Just warn you that it’s a bit bulky, but you can still wirelessly charge AirPods Pro with the case included. It is available in 4 color options.

Satechi
If you’re looking for a mini USB-C wireless charging port for AirPods Pro (or standard AirPods), this Satechi accessory fits the bill nicely. It’s very compact – basically slightly larger than the AirPods Pro case – and fits easily in your pocket. Works with any USB-C port that provides power. The only problem is that you may have trouble connecting if you have some kind of holster on your computer (it has to work all the way into the port).

RHA
The RHA has a slightly different view of the wireless flight transmitter. This one has two 3.5 mm foldable sockets: you can opt to use one 3.5 mm plug or two for those older in-flight systems that have two sockets. Both plugs return to the transmitter. The pairing process is the same as with the twelve south transmitter and was simple. Like that model, this one uses Bluetooth 5.0. It is also rated with 16 hours of battery life and is charged via USB-C. It also works with the Nintendo Switch.

Amazon
What do you do if you want to use AirPods with an in-flight entertainment system or a TV built into a gym machine that requires a wired connection? Well, one workaround is buying a Bluetooth transmitter that you can plug into any 3.5mm audio jack. There are several transmitters available from TaoTronics and other little known brands (I also tried TaoTronics.)
To pair AirPods with the transmitter, you need to turn off Bluetooth on your phone (or simply switch it to airplane mode), put AirPods in the case, hold down the Bluetooth button on the transmitter until it enters pairing mode, and then press the pair button on the AirPods case. (This video explains how to pair with your AirPods.)
Battery life is 16 hours, and AirFly Pro uses Bluetooth 5.0.

Made from robust leather and equipped with a quick-closing system, as well as an S-piston to prevent losses, the Twelve South AirSnap leather case is a slightly different attitude compared to the Apple AirPods Pro case. It is available in three skin tones at a price of $ 35. You can charge AirPods Pro wirelessly with a leather case.

Anchor
AirPods Pro has wireless charging, so you’ll need a wireless charging pad to take advantage of that feature. A good bargain option for AirPods Pro and for your phone is Anker PowerWave. It offers a 7.5 watt charge for your iPhone and a 10 watt charge for Android models that support it. It costs $ 14, but sometimes sells for less than $ 10. Available in black, white and blue.
