Some tailors who were allegedly involved in sewing fake Oyo State Security Network uniforms, known as Amotekun, have been arrested by security equipment.

The chairman of the Amotec Corps, General Kunle Togun (withdrawn), who revealed this in an interview on a radio station based in Ibadan, ‘FRESH 105.9 FM Political Circle, ‘ said tailors arrested around the Challenge area in Ibadan were investigated and handed over to police at Yemetu Police Station for further action.

He explained that the suspects were arrested after the information was filtered that they sewed and sold fake Amotekun uniforms to some people, especially in the Lagelua area in Ibadan.

“We are in the area right now to find out the truth. “Our fear is that people, if the uniforms fall into the wrong hands and if they use them to commit crimes, will believe that it is the work of the real staff of Amotekun,” he said.
