NXT stands for download and provides nightly two predictions

NXT Unification Championship Match in Heavyweight: Jordan Devlin (c) – Santos Escobar (c)

This match did not happen if, but when. At the start of the global pandemic, Jordan Devlin could not enter the U.S. and thus could not defend his NXT championship in the heaviest category. A tournament has been announced to crown the interim champion instead, as Santos Escobar has appeared both as a champion and as a rising star for the NXT. With the way Escobar carries himself and the division, you would be forgiven for thinking he was already an undisputed champion. Devlin did a great job re-establishing himself, but we don’t think that’s going to be enough on Thursday night. Legado del Fantasma is an x-factor that cannot be ignored. Losing Escobar would nullify a lot of the legitimacy he brought to himself and the divisions in Devlin’s absence.

Prediction: Santos Escobar

Unauthorized match: Kyle O’Reilly against Adam Cole

Kyle O'Reilly Adam Cole NXT TakeOver Stand and Deliver Night Two

The undisputed era was the most successful faction in NXT history and one of the strongest in WWE history. Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, i Roderick Strong it seemed destined to move on and has that same dominance on Raw or SmackDown. They continued to shock the system and change the landscape. That all changed when Adam Cole’s jealousy came to the fore with O’Reilly’s super kick. That was just the beginning of the end; the nail in the coffin was nailed down when Cole hit O’Reilly with a puzzle on the steel stairs. Whatever the outcome, this is not the end for these men; it’s just the beginning.

Prediction: Kyle O’Reilly

NXT Championship match: Finn Balor (c) against Karrion Kross

Finn Balor vs Carrion Cross

Carrion Cross entered the scene a year ago and created a path of destruction. He showed a level of aggression never seen before in NXT. Cross was quickly defeated Keith Lee to become an NXT champion and was poised to be the most dominant force the NXT has ever seen. Everything changed with a shoulder injury, and Kross was forced to leave the title. In his absence, Finn Balor won the NXT championship and has been wearing the brand ever since, much like in his initial run. After a great series of matches with Kyle O’Reilly, Balor looked ready to have a similar streak as in his first reign. Everything changed when Kross reappeared and proved to be just as dominant as before. This is the hardest match of the night to predict, both men have a likely case of going with the belt. I will choose Cross only because I believe he deserves the monstrous run he was originally supposed to have.

Regardless, it will be a failure for any NXT fan.

Prediction: Carrion Cross
