(Pocket-lint) – Sony Mobile has released two official videos on its Xperia YouTube channel that tease the launch of the expected Xperia 1 III and Xperia 10 III.
Both devices are thought to be the subject of an Xperia product announcement on April 14, and although Sony hasn’t confirmed they are, the first of the two announcement videos is called “Three is a Magic Number,” so it’s safe to assume it refers to the Xperia 1 III and Xperia 10 III.
While no device appears much in the first video, Sony talks about sound, photography, mobile games and cinema – all areas usually focus on their smartphones. No specification has been confirmed, although a triple camera appears to be on display – which supports rumors. However, there is no periscope / telephoto lens confirmation for the Xperia 1 III.
The second video seems to give a re-look at the triple camera on the Xperia 1 III, although this video also focuses on the predecessor – the Xperia 1 II and Xperia Pro – as well as all the other areas Sony is involved in, such as movies, games and music. .
There are two messages on the announcement videos, one of which says “Creative entertainment company with a solid foundation of technology”, while the other says “Redefining our future with tomorrow’s technologies”. The first video also contains several messages, such as “feel the action”, “experience the movies, watch without compromise” and “hear every detail”.
We doubt that this means that the Xperia 1 III will be delivered with a dynamic vibration system, 21: 9 aspect ratio display and support for Hi-Res audio – everything we would expect. You can read all the rumors surrounding Xperia 1 III and Xperia 10 III in our separate features.
