Watford vs Reading, Friday 19.45 – Live Sky Sports Football

Watford’s winning streak ended on Monday, but they’re still in the right position to advance automatically, and it’s fair to say that Brentford and Swansea aren’t putting much pressure!

Reading returned to the winning tracks on Monday, and that was important to them given how close the playoff battle is at the moment. They always love themselves against the big sides, but I think Watford will be too strong for them.

Prutton predicts: 2-1 (odds for heavenly bets)

Millwall vs Swansea, Saturday 12.30 – Live Sky Sports Football

Millwall knocks very nicely with three wins after a bounce. They may have left a little too late to enter the playoffs, but they are obviously still very motivated as the season draws to a close. Gary Rowett and his players are credited for that.

Swansea is doing badly. Four defeats in a row without a goal, and they must be sure to remain honest in this search for the playoffs. I like them to come back among the goals, but I think it could be the fifth defeat in a row.

Prutton predicts: 2-1 (Odds on Sky Bet)

Barnsley – Middlesbrough, Saturday 15:00

Two more goals for Daryl Dike on Monday, even after a missed penalty, Barnsley was a sensational acquisition, helping them clear the playoffs.

Middlesbrough got a good point against Watford on Monday, but it looks like they won’t fall in the playoffs. Neil Warnock will still have them for every game and Tykes has to be careful, but for me this is still a home win.

Prutton predicts: 2-1 (odds for heavenly bets)

Bournemouth – Coventry, Saturday 15:00

Bournemouth is on the outer edge of the top six. The playoffs were their minimum expectation this season and it is important that they force themselves into those positions.

Meanwhile, Coventry just want to keep the championship status intact and on Monday won a great win against Bristol City. I think this could be a pretty tough thing, but Coventry is so bad on the road that I have to overcome with Cherries.

Prutton predicts: 2-1 (odds for heavenly bets)

Huddersfield vs Rotherham, Saturday 15:00

Carlos Corberan has a real job on his hands to lift his hip after that hammer in Norwich in the middle of the week, as this is a big game for Huddersfield if they don’t want to be dragged back.

Rotherham have games in their favor as we all know, but this is the start of a really tough week and they need to start collecting some points. However, I think we will see a response from the terrier.

Prutton predicts: 1-0 (Odds on Sky Bet)

QPR – Sheffield Wednesday, Saturday 15:00 – Live Sky Sports Football

These are two teams that only summarize how difficult it is to predict the championship. QPR was great recently, but it was so bad against Nottingham Forest on Friday, followed by a ridiculous Sheffield Wednesday win against Cardiff.

Every game is a must to win on Wednesday if they want to stay on track, but QPR will play with the freedom of the midfield table. With that in mind, I’m going to go to the draw.

Prutton predicts: 1-1 (odds for heavenly bets)

Cardiff vs Blackburn: 2-2 (odds for heavenly bets)

Derby vs Norwich: 0-2 (odds for heavenly bets)

Preston vs Brentford: 1-0 (Odds on Sky Bet)

Wycombe vs Luton: 2-1 (odds for heavenly bets)
