The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is a fantastic phone, especially because of its price. But we can never say no to improvement, especially when it involves adding features with the Samsung Galaxy S21.
The latest firmware update for the Galaxy S20 FE (G781BXXU2CUC6) has started to be released in a number of European countries. Along with that comes a host of fancy camera features that debuted with the Galaxy S21 range, making the S20 FE a better value than before.
Features on the go include the ability to use the ultra-wide camera lens in Pro mode and new effects in phone portrait mode. Unfortunately. there are still plenty of features that remain exclusive to the Galaxy S21 range.
Missing features include the ability to use portrait mode in low light conditions and Director’s View, which allows you to switch between camera lenses when shooting videos. So, if you want the highest quality Samsung phone camera, it is still better to choose one of the Galaxy S21 assortment.
But if you need a great Samsung phone that doesn’t cost the same as the flagship one, this update makes the Galaxy S20 FE a little more appealing. If you are already rocking one of your own, you have something to look forward to in the near future.
