Defensive player Ronald Blair visited his former team.
Field Yates of ESPN reports to Blair visited with 49ers.
Blair was released in March after spending the entire 2020 season on a list of physically unfit to perform. Blair broke his ACL in a game against the Seahawks in November 2019.
Blair joined the 49ers as a fifth-round coach in 2016 and played in 47 games during the first four seasons with the team. In those performances, he had 88 accessories, 13.5 bags, forced transfer and recovery from luggage.
If Blair is healthy, he will probably get a chance to contribute to someone’s defense. If things went well on Wednesday, maybe he’s doing it in a familiar environment.
