Pete Davidson broke the silence about his ex-girlfriend Cazzie David’s new memoirs, “Nobody Asked for This,” which included an essay about their 2018 breakup.
Despite the best-selling author (26) revealing that she remained in agony after the 27-year-old SNL star broke off a two-year relationship because of the text, they managed to become kind friends.
‘I’m really happy for her. It went well and, you know, we’re fine. I don’t want anything but the best for her, ‘the actor told Insider for David’s new book. ‘I think she wrote a really funny book and I hope she stays on the scale.’

David’s collection of essays debuted as number two on The New York Times ’best-selling non-fiction book list on December 6th.
Larry David’s eldest daughter, who is the creator and star of the critical web series Eighty-Sixed, previously revealed that she showed her ex-flame an essay about him, titled Erase Me, before it was released.
‘It was a really crucial moment in my life,’ she told the Los Angeles Times about their separation. ‘And writing about it has caused me a ton of anxiety, especially because I talk so much about the hatred of attention it has brought me.’

But Pete eventually broke up with her over the text, before moving on Grande just a few weeks after their separation and covering all of his tattoos dedicated to her.
