Nigeria records 1,133 new COVID-19 cases

Nigeria recorded a total of 1,133 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, according to data released by the Nigerian Centers for Disease Control (NCDC)

There were 1,133 new cases in 18 countries – Lagos (397), FCT (357), Kaduna (81), Plato (63), Katsina (46), Sokoto (32), Oyo (28), Ogun (21), Kano (19), Rijeka (18), Osun (13), Edo (12), Niger (12), Bayelsa (11), Borno (1)
According to the latest situation report released by the NCDC on Wednesday, there are 1,133 confirmed cases, while five deaths have been reported in the country.

The report states that 80,922 cases have been confirmed so far, while 69,274 cases have been completed and 1,236 deaths have been recorded so far in 36 states and the federal territory of the capital.
According to the data, the state of Lagos and the Federal Territory of the capital (FCT) have the largest number of new infections.
