Neymar’s prediction about Jurgen Klopp and why Kylian Mbappe will think a little

Neymar predicted that Jurgen Klopp would create a dynasty in Liverpool after the Reds fell into Premier League glory last season.

The Brazilian had a few very positive things about Klopp, along with Paris Saint-Germain team-mate and Liverpool transfer target Kylian Mbappe.

Neymar told the Reds: “In the last two seasons Liverpool have played some of the best football in Europe.

“Last season winning the Champions League and this season winning the league was strong because they won the Premier League so pleasantly. Their coach has created a strong team and next season I am sure they will be very competitive again.”

Mbappe, meanwhile, added: “Liverpool was a machine in the Premier League. They made it easy to win, but the truth is that it is never easy.

“Performances like what happened didn’t just happen. Being as ruthless as he was came from a lot of hard work in training and from a very good manager.”

So far, Neymar’s predictions have fallen below the limit, and Liverpool have failed to achieve the high standards of last season’s campaign.

Currently, the Reds are sixth in the Premier League, a staggering 19 points behind league leader Manchester City.

And that could affect Mbappe’s decision to join Liverpool, with whom he has been firmly connected in recent months.

The Paris Saint-Germain striker chooses all the clubs on the planet, but Real Madrid and Liverpool are in the driver’s seat for his signature.

In theory, Klopp’s Liverpool could offer the World Cup winner a ready-made title-winning team, while Real Madrid have the money to make the transfer.

Liverpool will quickly lose the appeal if they fail to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League next season.

And unfortunately for the Reds, once in a lifetime the chance to sign Mbappe will no longer be there.
