Prominent Nigerian civil rights activists working as members of the National Constitutional Dialogue Constitution Drafting / Coordination Committee, launched by the National Consultative Front on Tuesday, said a draft of the proposed people’s constitution would be ready by December 2021.
NCFront members leading this process include former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Na’abu, prof. Economics, Pat Utomi; prominent Nigerian lawyers and civil rights activists, Femi Falana (SAN), Olisa Agbakoba and Mike Ozekhome Awolowo Dosumu and Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, among others.

The NC Front said it has launched an initiative to save and rescue Nigeria from the abyss, insecurity across the country and ethnic / civil anarchy.
This is contained in a statement entitled: ‘Ghali Na’aba, Pat Utomi, Olisa Agbakoba, Baba Ahmed, Awolowo Dosunmu, Mike Ozekhome, Femi Falana, Najatu Mohammed, other NC Front Conscience Leaders have launched a Dialogue on the Constitution of the People to save Nigeria from the fringes of civil anarchy, ‘signed by the head of the NC Front’s Public Relations Bureau, dr. Tanko Yunusa, in Abuja.
