Mike Tyson appeared at this week’s AEW Dynamite and seemingly narrowed the gap with former AEW champion and Inner Circle leader Chris Jericho.
During Pinnacle’s Inner Circle ambush in the ring, Tyson appeared stunning and saved Jericho from being dragged across the table. The legendary boxer quickly struggled physically and knocked Wardlow down with a series of fierce punches.
Shortly after lowering Wardlow, Tyson turned to Jericho and they hugged. While it would be an exaggeration to say that Tyson has joined The Inner Circle, it appears he will be on their side during their upcoming Bloods and Guts clash against the MJF barn.
Earlier at this week’s AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho held a babyface promotion, saying he and The Inner Circle have apologized for all their bad actions over the past six months. However, he accused the MJF of influencing most of those decisions.
After verbally stripping down all the members of The Pinnacle, Jericho finally set the challenge for the long-awaited blood-and-gut match, which will come down to the 5th episode of AEW Dynamite.
Mike Tyson and Chris Jericho had an unforgettable clash at AEW Dynamite last year
On May 28, 2020, an episode of AEW Dynamite, Mike Tyson and Chris Jericho had a memorable segment in the ring, where the two of them got into a wild brawl. They referred to the 2010 WWE RAW match, in which DX took over Chris Jericho and Mike Tyson. It ended with Tyson betraying Jericho and passing him.
