Meizu is launching the “iPhone for 18” campaign with a special discount on the iPhone replacement

Meizu, a Chinese smartphone maker, has officially announced an “iPhone for 18” campaign in which the company offers additional benefits when buying the company’s latest flagship Meizu 18 series when trading its iPhones.

According to the official announcement of Meizu on his Weibo account, users who trade their Apple iPhone to buy Meizu 18 series smartphones can get a special discount of up to 4,000 yuan, approximately 611 US dollars.

The development comes just a day after the company announced that 45 percent of new customers for Meizu 18 and 18 Pro smartphones are existing users of the Apple iPhone line. The company now seems to be trying to accept that and get more users to switch from iPhones to their devices.

The company accepts iPhone 7 and newer models for replacement, and these are models applicable at a reduced price. In addition to the discount, customers also have the opportunity to get POP2 TWS headphones.

Meizu officials say Meizu 18’s new line focuses on user security and privacy just like the iPhone, and also offers the same clean and comfortable user experience. The devices are sold as “Three Zero Mobile Phones” as they come with zero advertisements, zero pre-installed third party applications and zero push notifications of the company.
