Manchester City duo Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker have contracted COVID-19, the English Premier League team announced on Christmas.
Two unnamed members of the Manchester team were also confirmed to have tested positive for the disease.

“All four staff will now observe a period of self-isolation in line with the Premier League and the UK government’s quarantine protocol,” the club added.
“Everyone in the club wishes our colleagues a speedy recovery during the Christmas period before their return to work, training and competition.
City players have joined a long list of sports stars who have tested positive for a disease that has disrupted sports activities around the world, which will cause great concern to manager Pep Guardiola ahead of a side clash with Newcastle United.
