Following the Southwestern Zone Congress of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), held in Osogba, a group in that party warned that disagreement between Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinda and former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose was dangerous for a wealth of entertainment.

The group praised the immediate past chairman of the party from the southwest of the Fayose camp, Dr. Eddy Olafes, who polled 330 during the congress because he accepted the outcome and promised to support Ambassador Taofiq Arapaja of Mackindeh camp.

The chairman of the PDP Southwest Zone, United Kingdom, Prince Soji Adewusi, in a statement made available to journalists in the capital of Osogbo, Osun, assured the new leadership of Ambassador Taofiq Arapaja in the zone of maximum support that the party regain lost glory and return to power.

He then called on PDP leaders in Yorubaland to immediately bring Makinde and Fayose into the peace pair and force the two gladiators to commit to peace and rebuild the party ahead of key elections in Ekiti and Osun state next year.
