Jurgen Klopp welcomed three stars of the first team, one of whom is Thiago on the eve of the holiday season.
The Liverpool boss had to deal a lot with a huge list of injuries during the season.
Thiago’s summer signature has not been present since the October derby at Merseyside, but has been seen in training.
The Spaniard has only played twice since joining Bayern Munich, but closes after returning to the first team after being noticed by Klopp.
Thiago’s workload on Wednesday is unknown, but if he participates in training on Christmas, he may be an option for the Reds coming to Hawthorns on Sunday.
The Premier League champions play against West Brom, Newcastle and Southampton within eight days.

Klopp isn’t short on midfield though, so he should be able to ease Thiago, instead of rushing him out of desperation.
Another midfielder, though versatile, was seen in full training as James Milner returned.
The 34-year-old skipped Brighton in November and has not been seen since.
But he was well involved in training and it seems that he will be an option for Klopp again.
Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri was ruled out before Liverpool beat Leicester 3-0 on November 22 and has not played since.
He seems to be nearing his return to full fitness.

Star player Virgil van Dijk remains a significant omission due to the injury he suffered against Everton.
The Dutchman has started rehabilitation, but is not expected to return soon.
Liverpool managed to cope, although Joe Gomez was also unavailable due to injury.
Fabinho has impressively filled people like Joel Matip, Nathaniel Phillips and Rhys Williams.
The Reds last knocked down Crystal Palace 7-0 to solidify their place at the top of the table.
This is their third year in a row – the first team to achieve a feat since their own success in the 1980s.
