LinkedIn users report interruptions to their career networking site.
According to the status page of LinkedIn, the company is investigating the problem. “Currently, we have a problem across the platform that should cause some API requests to take time or fail unexpectedly. We are investigating the problem and working to resolve it,” the page states.
“We know that some members have problems accessing LinkedIn on mobile devices and desktops. We are working on that as we speak and will provide updates as we have them,” LinkedIn told Insider in an email.
Down Detector, a website that tracks interruptions on various sites, shows a huge jump in reports of problems in the last hour. The map of the lower detector shows interruptions in groups of cities across North America, and commentators report problems in Europe as well.
