Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello on Wednesday blamed politicians for insecurity in Nigeria.
Governor Bello explained that the use of political bullies during the elections is largely responsible for the insecurity in Nigeria.
The governor responded to the issue of banditry ravaging the northern part of the country.
However, Bello, as a guest on the Sunrise Daily television show, warned that Nigeria can only be safe when politicians stop using bullies and criminals during elections.
“When politicians stop using bullies, advertisements or some group of criminals, then we will start to have security and safety,” Bello said.
