INTERRUPTION: Nine arrested for attacking former CBN governor, Soludo, killing police officers

Nine suspects were arrested for attacking the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, prof.

Professor Soluda was attacked by unknown gunmen in Isuofia, the local government of Aguata, Anambra state, during an interactive session with some young people in March.

The attackers killed three police officers during the attack.

On Wednesday, the Governor of the State of Anambra, Willie Obiano, at the Women’s Development Center prof. Dora Akunyili in Awki, revealed that nine suspected criminals were arrested in connection with the attack.

The governor said: “What happened last month is sad, but I will tell you, we have made a new strategy and we are coming out as a smoker.

“We will not take prisoners. The nine people who attacked Professor Soluda are now in our network. We will eliminate them. We will follow the others.

“We will not take prisoners anymore. A special team has already been assembled that is already working everywhere. “
