Inter Milan confirm that Christian Eriksen is on the transfer list

Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta confirms that the unfortunate striker Christian Eriksen is on the transfer list.

Inter Milan Executive Director Giuseppe Marotta confirmed it Christian Eriksen is on the club transfer list heading into the winter window.

The Danish international has struggled to leave a mark for the Italian giants since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur in January, managing to score just four goals and three assists in 38 appearances.

Eriksen, meanwhile, has not scored or recorded an assist in 12 outings in this term, and in recent weeks has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League.

Marotta has revealed that the 28-year-old will be available for transfer during the winter window, seemingly inviting offers from those who like Manchester United i Arsenal.

“Eriksen is on the transferable list,” Marotta said Sky Italia. “He struggled to fit into the team, he is not functional in the team. It is just an objective fact.

“It’s not an insult to his professionalism, there’s no penalty, it’s just that the situation has developed and it’s fair to give him a chance to go where he can play more regularly.”

Eriksena is estimated to value I Nerazzurri in the £ 27 million region.
