President Muhammadu Buhari says he is taking a short break in London, UK.
It contains his letter on Thursday to King Abdullah ll Bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, after resolving the recent split in the royal family.
Buhari said he felt very upset when he heard reports of the problem, but felt calm when he learned that everything had been resolved amicably.
“While I was resting here briefly in London, I was deeply disturbed when I read from international news agencies attempts to destabilize the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.”
Bukhari said the king’s exemplary leadership since ascending the throne has caused admiration around the world.
The President noted that relations between Nigeria and Jordan were excellent and “Thank you for the role you have played in this regard.
“Your Majesty, I am very pleased that things have now been resolved and I pray that the Hashemite Kingdom remains not only peaceful, but also the main beacon of hope in the region under the wise leadership of Your Majesty,” the letter added.
