Our guide to regularly watching movies Fast and Furious is all you need to learn why family is the most important thing in life. So for everyone who lives one mile at a time, we have the necessary information.
Like Dom Toretto, the films Fast and Furious are hard to find. Unlike Marvel and Star Wars movies, many F&F movies are not included in the main streaming services, so you may have to buy or rent them to watch. A few, however, can be found on services like HBO Max and Peacock, and we have all the details below.
Once you have prepared all the Fast and Furious movies, you will be able to drink in the epic timeline of these movies. Although they start out as fun, lively stories about illegal street races, they have turned into narrative stories about the globe pushing our heroes to save the world (and each other).
You’d like to be on time for the F9: Fast & Furious 9, which should come out in 2021, and add another big name to the driver list. Yes, just as Fast Five added Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, F9 will add one of The Rock’s biggest rivals in the ring: John Cena.
Here’s everything you need to find and watch Fast and Furious movies in order:
Fast and furious movies in a row, where to watch them
Let’s start with the movies Fast and Furious in the order they are shown in theaters. This is a fairly simple order, as the numbers (or word games, such as Fate of the Rage) in each title show their order. The only slightly confusing films are the ones without numbers: Tokyo Drift comes after 2 Fast 2 Furious, followed by Fast & Furious (the fourth film).
The most annoying part of finding movies Fast and Furious is that only 3 out of 9 movies are on major streaming services. HBO Max has the original film Fast and Furious and a standout of Hobbs & Shaw, which pairs rivals Luke Hobbs (Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). Peacock Premium has Fast & Furious 6. You have to get the rest yourself.
One note for our audience in the UK, there some films have different titles. Fast Five is “Fast & Furious 5”, Furious 7 is “Fast & Furious 7”, and “Fate of Furious” is “Fast & Furious 8”.
Fast and furious films in the order of events
If you want to watch movies in the order of their events, you have to move them a bit.
And if you look at family history, there are some additional features: Turbo-Charged Prelude and Los Bandoleros. None are available from traditional sources, but the first is on YouTube, and the second (directed by Vin Diesel) was posted by the editor on Vimeo.
Fast and furious films in the order of ratings
“Fast and Furious” movies can be protected from reviews, but there are a number of qualities up and down in the franchise. So, we found the Rotten Tomatoes rating for each film and put them in order as critics rate them.
As you’ll see, simpler and earlier films didn’t go well with intelligence, while Dwayne Johnson’s injection added some appeal to the films.
