Former Home and Van star Johnny Ruffo shared a cute Christmas photo after discovering he is battling brain cancer for the second time.

On Friday, the 32-year-old posed alongside girlfriend Tahnee Sims in an Instagram photo, and both wore matching formal pajamas as they cuddled close by.

Johnny titled the photo: “Merry Christmas, I hope everyone has an amazing day with their families and will be spoiled spoiled.”

He was overwhelmed by the warm greetings of friends and fans, and Morning Show host Kylie Gillies commented below the picture, “You too,” along with a heartfelt emoji.

On Wednesday, the star shared news on Instagram about her progress in cancer treatment, along with two photos.

In the first picture, Johnny radiated from ear to ear in the car as he smiled along with his girlfriend Tahnee Sims.

In another, the former star of The X Factor Australia was sitting in a treatment room receiving what appears to be chemotherapy.

Sarah Harris of Studio 10 wrote, “Go well,” and repeated Johnny’s hashtag.

Lynne McGranger, who plays Irene Roberts in and out of the house, also offered nice words. ‘I always send love, my dear friend,’ she wrote next to pictures of bent biceps.

Johnny revealed the shocking news that he was battling brain cancer again on November 24th.

‘After an unexpected week of seizures and excruciating headaches, heavy-hearted I have to let you know that another big battle awaits me now as my brain cancer has returned,’ Johnny wrote on Instagram.

Johnny was first diagnosed with the disease in 2017 after going to the hospital with painful migraines.

In August of the same year, a 7 cm brain tumor was surgically removed, before he underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Johnny became famous in the 2011 talent show The X Factor, where he took third place.

He later played Chris Harrington indoors and outdoors from 2013 to 2016.
