Google search algorithms, pass indexing, local and user interface changes

Happy Holidays and Christmas to all who celebrate! This week, I covered Google in a search, saying why it would not undo the basic Google update in December 2020. John Mueller of Google also said he can ignore certain parts of your website for quality assessment. Google explains why you can see parts of your website increase and others decrease after the algorithm is updated. Google said pass indexing is not live at this time. Google said the basic updates and BERT are not related. Google returned the indexing tools after 69 days of absence. Google said that not all search algorithms are suitable for machine learning. Valentin shared some information about how long Google Discover stories have been running. Microsoft Advertising has launched a new health dashboard. The Google Local Panel now displays ads for lawyers. Google Guaranteed offers discounts. Google local now merges web results into the local search results panel. Google search shows streaming 3D content for cars. Google may be testing the ad tag below the headline, making it harder to see. Google tests square and colored buttons or tabs. Google is testing people who are also searching in the new location. Google is also showing a new popular product review slider.
