The redesign gives users more space to watch content and other people’s video feeds while watching and sharing content with others. This will be available next month. Google will also allow users to pin more tiles so users can customize what they focus on during their Meet calls. This feature will be introduced in the coming months. Google Meet will also automatically detect low-light backgrounds and automatically adjust brightness. This feature will be introduced at Google Meet on the web in the coming weeks.

Google also allows users to resize, resize, or hide their video feed while chatting. Google said this feature was introduced based on user feedback to “concentrate better and often feel less tired” when not seen while talking during a Meet call.
