The management of the Federal Agricultural University of Abeokuta has distanced itself from the alleged advertisement for hiring staff circulating on various social media platforms.

In a statement signed by the registrar of the institution and the secretary of the governing council, dr. Bola Adekola, it was stated that the alleged advertisement was not broadcast from the institution.

He called on members of the public to ignore her, describing her as “malicious and fraudulent”.

The statement read: “Our attention is called to spread information via the Internet through various channels regarding advertisements for the upcoming mass recruitment of staff at the Federal Agricultural University, Abeokuta.

“We want it to be completely clear that the advertisement did not come from the University. Therefore, we separate the name of the University from this advertisement.

“We order all members of the public to have nothing to do with the ad because it is malicious and deceptive.”
