EXPOSED: The identity of Commander Kano Hisbe captured at a hotel with a married woman

Sani Rimo has been identified as a senior board official of Hisano’s Kano State Committee caught with a married woman at a hotel.

SaharaReporters reported on Tuesday that an Islamic police commander had been arrested at a hotel in the Sabon Gari area.

Rimo is reportedly in charge of arresting beggars and prostitutes in the Kano metro area.

He was detained after the husband of the woman he allegedly had an affair with filed complaints.

Hisba officials regularly arrest unmarried people caught in hotels, presumably for sexual activity, as part of their sharia practice.

They are also known for destroying trucks of alcoholic beverages.

Founded to enforce sharia, Hisbach recently banned elegant haircuts, trousers, music at social events by jockeys, and confiscated tricycles from drivers for decorating them with images deemed obscene and anti-Islamic in some states.

Hisbach also banned commercial motorcyclists and tricycles from transporting two women at once.

This was in addition to other unusual directives issued by the Islamic police.
