EXCLUSIVE: One night in Miami star Eli Goree has been cast as lead actor alongside Chloë Grace Moretz and Jack Reynor in Amazon’s sci-fi thriller drama Peripheral, based on the best-selling novel by William Gibson, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy’s Kilter Films.

The book focuses on Flynne (Moretz) and her brother Burton (Reynor). In the novel, Burton, a veteran of the elite force of the American Marine Haptic Exemption, is engaged in a security job that takes place in what he thinks is cyberspace. When Flynne temporarily takes his place, she witnesses something that could be murder.
Goree will play Conner.
In addition to Moretz and Reynor, he joins the series ’previously announced regular players Gary Carr, Charlotte Riley, JJ Feild, Adelind Horan, T’Nia Miller and Alex Hernandez.

Goree can currently star as Cassius Clay One night in Miami, The highly acclaimed directorial debut of Regina King of Amazon Studios, who participated in the SAG Award and Critics Choice Award nominations for her performance. He was recently seen acting in the US Suits spinoff Pearson. He also reiterated his role as Crazy dog in season 4 of the CW Riverdale. On the film side, Goree also starred in Stephen Hopkin’s film Race and expressed a role in Antoine Fuquau Guilty for Netflix, opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.
