Ecobank Transnational Incorporated has appointed Tomislav Fashina as Group Executive Director, Operations and Technology

Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), the parent company of the Ecobank Group (, announces that Tomisin Fashina has been appointed the new CEO of the Operations and Technology Group, a position he will now hold in addition to his existing role as CEO of eProcess International.

Tomisin has over 30 years of experience, mostly in technology and financial services management. Prior to joining Ecobank, Tomisin was chairman of Steward Harare Zimbabwe’s board of directors. He has also been the CEO of Yookos, a social media company, and has held several positions at Barclays Bank, including CEO and Director, Transaction Banking Products and Channel Management and Director, Cash Management and Payments. Prior to that, at Citigroup South Africa, he held leading roles in its Global Transaction Services as Head of Department and Director, Customer Delivery, Sub-Saharan Africa; and Head of Department, Electronic Banking and Implementation, Sub-Saharan Africa.

Tomisin holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Obafemi Awolowo University, a master’s degree in business administration in marketing from the University of Lagos and a doctorate in business management from Capella University, Minnesota. USA.

Dr. Fashina succeeds Eddy Ogbogu as CEO, Operations and Technology, following Eddy’s recent retirement after serving in the group for 11 years.
