COVID-19: Nigeria records 1,133 new cases, five additional deaths

A total of one thousand, one hundred and thirty-three, 1133 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been reported in Nigeria.

The Nigerian Centers for Disease Control, NCDC, posted the information on Wednesday night via tweet via its official Twitter account.

The NCDC said the state of Lagos and the FCT recorded 397 and 357 cases, respectively, while the state of Kaduna followed with 81 cases.

The Public Health Agency also recorded five additional deaths related to COVID-19.

Nigeria now has a total of 80,922 confirmed cases and 1,236 deaths.
