Coronavirus cases in Europe exceed 25 million

More than 25 million cases of coronavirus have been officially recorded in Europe, according to AFP, which is based on official health statistics on Friday at 11:00 GMT.

The 52 countries are the most affected zones in the world by the number of infections, followed by the United States and Canada with 19,188,172, Latin America and the Caribbean with 15,024,469 and Asia with 13,617,004.

Europe was the first global region to record half a million deaths on December 17.
