Carla cheating on Peter with Lucas?
Lucas Kempton (Glen Wallace), Carlin’s charming Irish (almost) ex, returned to Weatherfield this week, claiming his interest in Ms Connor is strictly professional. Of course it is. Peter surprises Carla with flowers at the factory and hears him talking to Lucas about his relationship with Mr. Barlow, and she’s not exactly on compliment after their recent rock spot.
Unaware that she is eavesdropping on him, Carla unknowingly adds uncertainty to Peter by getting drunk with Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) to let off steam, but lying that she is on a business trip overnight. Peter confronts her and openly asks if he has an affair, so Carla sets him right. However, it raises awkward questions about the state of their romance with the slides – does Carla bring the worst in her other troubled half?

Thinking about selling the community center to raise capital, Yasmeen then learns that Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) has been left as part of the house and Speed Daal in his father’s will. Is this a response to his stepmother’s financial failures?
