Enyimbe head coach Fatai Osho cannot hide his disappointment after the Peoples Elephant fell to Sudanese club Al Merreikh 3-0 on Wednesday, Completesports.com reports.
The two-time African champions staged a split in the first round of the CAF Champions League, in the first match at Al Hilal Stadium, Omdurman.
Saifeldin Maki put a bracket for the hosts in the game.

“It’s really painful. “Every mistake on our part was punished and it was very good on their part,” Osho told Enyimbafc.net
“As for the game, we did well, but we had to be a little tidy in the back.”
Enyimba will try to bring down the deficit when it hosts Al Merreikh in a January 5 turnaround at Enyimba International Stadium.
