Charles and Camilla celebrate Christmas with a new festive photo – Royal Central

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have posted a new photo marking Christmas.

The picture was taken by a member of the Birkhall staff in Scotland and shows the future king and queen holding giant sticks.

Prince Charles has binoculars around his neck, and Camilla is warmly wrapped in a coat and has a comfortable-looking hat.

Their Royal Highnesses spend Christmas at the Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.

The couple had hoped to see the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh sometime during the holidays, however this is not possible now due to new harsh restrictions aimed at dealing with the public health emergency.

The Queen is spending the Christmas holidays in Windsor this year. Her Majesty, along with the Duke of Edinburgh, are celebrating the holiday season at the castle which has been their main residence for most of 2020.

The queen is usually joined by the royal family in Sandringham for Christmas.
