2020 is undoubtedly filled with certain ups and downs, and many are already trying to bring good energy into the new year. Among them is Captain Marvel star Brie Larson, who went to her YouTube channel on Christmas Eve to share an optimistic ode to 2021. In a nearly nine-minute-long video, Larson makes an honest song of his followers ’hopes for the new year. She also appears in the video as she sings a new rendition of the song “Black Sheep,” a song sung by her character, Envy Adams Scott Pilgrim against the world.
Sang about your hopes for 2021 on today’s channel. He filled my soul. And you have finally fulfilled your often sought-after hope for 2020: a black sheep blanket. https://t.co/rmGDZQUrCd 🥰 pic.twitter.com/mMiIE1Efb0

This isn’t the first time Larson has used her YouTube channel to pay tribute to “Black Sheep,” as she previously learned to choreograph dance to a fan’s favorite song. The videos have definitely fallen in love again with love for Scott Pilgrim, who recently celebrated his tenth anniversary, and has provoked fans speculating about a possible sequel.
“For me, that ‘good’ would just mean being close to that group again. It was such a great group,” Michael Cera, who played Scott Pilgrim, told ComicBook.com earlier this year. “Luckily, we all get together and it was really like a great band or something and we all loved being around and it obviously happens less and less, but when the movie came out, and even a few years after that, we all hung out a lot. “
“Bill Pope, who is a cameraman, had lunch with his wife Sharon quite regularly,” Cera continued. “I really felt like an extended family. It’s been 10 years later, so obviously life for everyone is doing its thing. I wish, if it meant forcing everyone to hang out for a while, I’d love it. I hope this is 10. anniversary, will give us an excuse to get together. “
Larson will see you next time Captain Marvel 2, a sequel to the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will see her join forces with Monica Rambeau Teyonah Parris and Kamala Khan Iman Vellani. Wonderful.
“When we learned that Brie Larson might be interested in joining our world, we had a series of meetings.” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said in one of Captain Marvelspecial special offers. “She was a big fan of the character in comics. One of the highlights of my career at Marvel was appearing at Comic-Con and going on stage and there with literally almost everyone else from our movies. There he was in the foreground, and that was a great hint – not only because the audience will accept Brie as this character, but also because Captain Marvel will take the lead and be at the head of the entire Cinematic Universe. “
