Boko Haram attacked former army chief, Buratai local government, kidnapped many, burned “200 houses”

Many residents of the Biu local government area in the state of Borno have still not been cleared after Boko Haram terrorists attacked four communities in the area last weekend, a military source told SaharaReporters.

Biu is the area of ​​local government of the immediate Chief of Staff of the Army Yusuf Buratai. There is also the University of the Nigerian Army.

Sahara Reporters gathered that the attacks on the villages were not repulsed.

The source said that armed people were taking away food and cattle, adding that the insurgents burned more than 200 houses.

“They burned more than 200 houses, schools and several shops in the villages,” the source said.

“They also took away so many people they caught trying to escape.”
