In short, this is the best TV under 50 inches that you can buy. In fact, it’s probably the best under-50-inch TV that has ever existed. This is one of the first OLED TVs available under 55 inches, and is an advantage to the LG CX (below) for both picture and sound quality. Still, it doesn’t have LG’s next-generation HDMI features, which is something you should consider if you’re a keen gamer. See the offer
LG OLED48CX 48-inch OLED TV £ 1499 £ 1479 on Richer Sounds

This was the first 48-inch OLED TV to appear and, although the Sony A9 is above it in terms of picture and sound, the LG CX is more equipped with features and more affordable.

55-inch OLED TV Sony KD-55A8 £ 1999 £ 1399 for John Lewis
Sony’s 2020 OLED top is one of the best TVs to date. The main thing is realism and authenticity, all without sacrificing punch and liveliness. And by current standards it sounds very good and boasts a smart, subtle design. Players looking for the next generation of consoles should pause to consider the lack of some HDMI features, but the A8 is otherwise a great versatile model that will be a pleasure to own.

Samsung QE75Q800T £ 5499 £ 3499 on Amazon (save £ 2000)
Samsung’s initial 75-inch 8K model looked like great value when it was launched at £ 5,499, and now it seems a bit affordable with this £ 2,000 discount. The Q800T has fewer dimming zones than the Q900TS and Q950TS below, and becomes less bright, but 2,000 nits is still more than enough for a super-charged image. This looks like a very good purchase.
